Mission

The mission of PLAN!T NOW (the organization formerly known as the Grenada Relief Fund) is to be an advocate for the power of preparedness, focused on empowering people to develop their own solutions. But, the challenge is not only to create tools and resources for public preparedness, it's creating a sense of urgency for preparedness itself.

Simply put, our mission is to give people the power to save their own lives.

Specifically, our goal is to empower people through information and connection; to provide a dialogue between survivors and those yet to be affected in high-risk coastal or island geographies. When people have a grassroots network on which to rely for information, the importance of planning is reinforced on a daily basis. Our mission is to help people create these networks within their own communities and between separate communities that are affected by the same natural events.
